Is anyone else struggling with the hard ground making their pony's hooves like bullets?

Out of all three of mine, ironically Suzie – who has historically had horrendous feet – has the best of the lot at the moment! Both Lux and Boris have feet so hard that our farrier has his work cut out just trying to trim them.

I've been using Hedgewitch Frog & Sole Saviour on Suzie and personally really like it. It's helped bring her frogs back and, although they're still hard and dry, the fact that she actually has frogs is a significant improvement on where we were this time last year!

I've also been oiling their feet, but with the summer we're having, the constant dry and rock-hard ground definitely seems to be taking its toll.

I'm always interested in trying different products, so I'd love to know what everyone else is using.
