I have to say, it was a huge relief to finally get some rain! The grass is green again and the ponies are happy. Their feet don’t quite know what’s going on after being rock hard all summer, but thankfully we have a wonderful farrier who helps us keep on top of them.

Of course, it didn’t take long for the mud to make an appearance, so the mud control mats have been laid – or at least we’ve made a start!

I can’t believe summer has already come to an end. The time has absolutely flown by and autumn feels closer than I’d really like.

I am enjoying these sunny but slightly cooler days though. Suzie is heading back into those slightly trickier turnout patterns again, but she has managed so well this year and I’m really pleased with how she’s done.
