One thing I've discovered while developing the Little Hooves rug range is just how different ponies really are.

I've always known Suzie and Boris were built differently, but measuring them both made me appreciate just how much variation there is. Two ponies can wear the same rug length and yet need a completely different fit around the shoulders or neck.

It's one of the reasons I've spent so much time refining measurements. I don't think there will ever be one rug that fits every pony perfectly, but I do think we can do better than simply making a horse rug smaller.

Working through the samples has certainly given me a new appreciation for how much thought goes into a well-fitting rug.
