Important: This is not a lightweight mesh fly rug. The specialist polyester/spandex fabric is similar in weight to a quality anti‑itch summer sheet — not thin mesh. It offers a closer fit, greater durability and better protection for itchy or sensitive horses.

If neck coverage isn’t required, the rug can be used alone. It’s also compatible with the Headless Sweet Itch Hood for face‑free protection.
